Is-sensiela Malti.B hija l-għodda ideali għall-għalliema tal-Malti għaliex isservi ta’ gwida kif wieħed jilħaq il-miri tat-tagħlim tal-lingwa Maltija meta mgħallma lill-barranin. Hija wkoll utli għal dawk il-ġenituri li jixtiequ jirrevedu ma’ wliedhom dak li jsir fil-klassi tal-Malti bħala Lingwa Barranija.

Is-sensiela Malti.B hija akkumpanjata minn kotba ta’ taħriġ li jimxu b’mod parallel mal-ktieb tal-istudent.
L-għan huwa li joffri lill-għalliema u lill-istudenti materjal addizzjonali li jista’ jintuża fil-klassi jew bħala xogħol għad-dar biex jirfed dak li jkun sar fil-klassi. Dan il-ktieb ta’ taħriġ joffri għajnuna f’każ li tkun trid tfannad, tagħmel reviżjoni jew inkella għal dawk l-istudenti li jkollhom bżonn aktar xogħol x’jagħmlu għal diversi raġunijiet.
Fih ukoll l-idea ta’ ripetizzjonijiet, għaliex dan huwa neċessarju meta qed ngħallmu lingwa ġdida mill-bidu. Ir-ripetizzjoni fit-taħriġ isservi ta’ tisħiħ tat-tagħlim.
